PreFlight Aviation was founded in 2020 with the goal of making these services available to owners and potential owners of any type of general aviation aircraft. Co-CEO of PreFlight Aviation, Eamon Christmas, spent years flying as a corporate pilot and aircraft manager where he had the opportunity to operate many different airframes ranging from pistons and turboprops to business jets. He knows first-hand the value aircraft ownership and business aviation can bring to an individual or organization. With the knowledge of general aviation in hand, he brought on Colby Smith, a friend, pilot, and graduate of the University of North Dakota's College of Business and Public Administration, as Co-CEO to assist in the operation of PreFlight Aviation. The team set out with the goal of making the aircraft purchase process less daunting for buyers and to simplify aircraft management in order to make it accessible to all.  

 

In 2021, PreFlight Aviation added Jon Wickersham to the team. Jon is a friend, CFI, CFII, MEI, airline pilot, and graduate of the University of North Dakota's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences. Jon is a valuable asset to the team and is proud to serve as the Vice President of PreFlight Aviation.
